There is a particular moment in nature when a flower is neither bud nor bloom — suspended between becoming and being. This piece lives in that moment.

I have spent years photographing flowers up close. Not the whole flower — the interior. The place most people walk past without stopping. A petal's edge in raking light. The geometry of a center. The way color shifts from the outside in, never quite the same twice. It is, if I'm honest, nearly as consuming as the stones.

This piece came from that obsession.

At its heart sits a natural amethyst cluster — tiny crystal points ranging from cool blue-purple to deep reddish violet, exactly as they grew. Around them, a hand-sculpted flower form holds vintage faceted garnet beads embedded into the petals like drops of ancient red light. The whole piece is finished with 22 carat gold leaf — that particular warmth that makes everything around it more alive.

Purple and red and gold. Intuition and passion and light.

Amethyst works with the crown and third eye chakras — bringing clarity, calm, and inner vision. Garnet grounds that energy through the root chakra, anchoring it in the body. Together they create a piece that is at once ethereal and deeply, physically present.
