Some pieces carry a whole life inside them. This is one of those.

The large amethysts at the heart of these earrings have been in my studio for nearly twenty years. I have looked at them countless times, picked them up, put them down, waited. They were never quite ready to become something — until now.

The small amethyst beads are older still, in a different way. They came from a bracelet I was given when I was thirteen years old. When it finally broke, I couldn't let them go. I saved every bead. I have been using them carefully, thoughtfully, only where they truly belong. Some of them belong here.

Two amethysts from two completely different chapters of a life — brought together in a single pair of hand-sculpted earrings, finished with 935 fine silver posts and backs, and sent out into the world to begin their next chapter with whoever wears them.

Amethyst is a stone of intuition, inner clarity, and spiritual protection. It works with the crown and third eye chakras — sharpening perception, quieting noise, bringing you back to yourself.

At 21 grams each, these are not subtle earrings. They are a declaration. Worn by a woman who has nothing to prove and everything to express.
